About me

Hi, I'm Tim Butler co-founder of Bigberry Digital, a digital agency that myself and Eliza Flynn set up back in April 2010.

I started out life as a web developer for a WPP company in 2004, where I worked on several large accounts such as HSBC, Harvey Nichols, the Royals, MI5, the list goes on. Later on I joined a multinational company EF Education and moved to Zurich for 9 months, before parting ways to set up my own company.

My main focus is on producing CMS enabled sites. Having worked with a few Content Management Systems (mojoportal, sitecore, umbraco) I now dedicate my time to producing sites in umbraco.

I like to blog about technical solutions to common tasks in umbraco, as it helps me remember how I've solved a problem and hopefully helps the wider umbraco community.

I have a number of other interests, such as my new found ukuele skills (recently started playing this year) and learning how to sail after going on a Day Skipper course. My ambition is to conquer all common modes of transport so that if world war 3 breaks out, I will be able to escape by land, sea or air :)
